Among the keynoters is the Academy Award-winning filmmaker (My Octopus Teacher) Swati Thiyagarajan and Tracy Britt Cool, the co-founder of the innovative business development company Kanbrick. Rather than lead the conference from one of Geoversity’s partner institutions at Harvard or Stanford, we have picked Panama in recognition of the country’s model Sustainable Tourism Master Plan and our long history of collaboration with the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and indigenous authorities and NGOs. We have selected the Frank Gehry-designed Biomuseo to serve as the world symbol and originating studio for this historic event. |
